The year 2025 has been a year of change, renewal, and determined development for Vison. We have continued our strategy-driven work to improve practices in the construction industry together with our clients and partners, despite the ongoing uncertainty in the sector.

Our focus has been firmly on the future: on how construction industry operations can be made more productive, sustainable and people-centred through joint efforts.

🎄 Collaboration beyond project boundaries

Over the past year, Vison has been involved in several group projects in which clients and service providers have worked together to develop procurement practices, project culture, and collaboration models within the construction industry. At the core of this work have been open dialogue, trust and the willingness to move things forward even when ready-made solutions do not yet exist.

We also expanded our operations into new environments, such as the maritime industry, and continued our international work, including the Rail Baltic Estonia project. We have been involved in developing the Infrastructure Programme Helsinki delivery model and information management with a larger team. In addition, we have worked on several domestic projects where brave clients have taken procurement practices and project culture in a more collaborative and productive direction.

Our research project Value Management System in Construction, which concludes at the turn of the year, has supported our work to improve productivity and responsibility in project delivery. We will share more about the project’s results in early 2026.

🎄 Vison as part of the XPartners network

In 2025, we became part of the XPartners network. The new ownership structure supports Vison’s long-term development and strengthens our ability to advance our operations in a systematic way and to look further into the future. At the same time, Vison’s expertise, way of working and day-to-day operations have continued unchanged.

🎄 New team members and appointments

This year, our team was strengthened by two new additions when Pinja Moilanen joined us as a consultant in Oulu and Jarmo Laamanen as an executive advisor in Helsinki. In the spring, Pinja completed an excellent master’s thesis for us, which you can explore here. Both have been a valuable addition to our team.

As a result of the acquisition, former Managing Partner Miika Ronkainen was appointed CEO of Vison. Supporting him is the management team that has been in place since 2023, consisting of Rauli Wallén, Rami Tuokko and Sari Koskelo. Vison’s founding partners continue to work actively in expert and client roles and to support the company’s leadership.

🎄 Thank you for the past year

Developing the construction industry does not happen quickly or alone, but gradually and through collaboration. We would like to thank our clients and partners for their trust and cooperation throughout 2025.

This year’s Christmas donation was made to Mieli Mental Health Finland (Mieli ry), an organization that does important work in supporting mental health.

We wish you a peaceful holiday season and a very happy start to 2026!
